Anne Boleyn is my favourite historical figure. Intelligent and Independent at a time where Men dominated all aspects of society and Women were expected to be seen and not heard. She has been portrayed in many films by actresses including Natalie Dormer, Natalie Portman and Genevieve Bujold.

Signature Look
The look is very unique and of its time. Anne Boleyn is remembered for wearing the distinct pearl "B" pendant, statement decorative head pieces and exquisitely embellished bodices and full skirts to enhance her femininity and appeal.
Looking through the Autumn/Winter 2012 collections, there are many aspects of the Tudor style that is evident; from the use of luxurious fabrics, like Velvet, lace and Silk, embellishment and embroidery used to decorate , jewel tones of ruby, topaz and emerald, the addition of pearls to accessories and jewellery and the Baroque trend that takes inspiration from this period of time and gives it a edgy Rock and Roll feel.
